Last Tuesday, October 11st, I went to Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre in Moscow to join Palouse French Film Festival 2022 at 7 PM. Palouse French Film Festival is an event to show people to a French movie every week. So, I watched a French movie in there. The title of the movie was ‘Illusions perdues’ which means ‘Lost illusions’. Actually, I didn’t understand what actors and actresses said. They spoke only French language, and subtitle which helps attendants to understand was English. Both were very difficult to me. Nevertheless, I understood the story of the movie to see what they act and to hear how they speak. Although I didn’t understand at all, this movie was impressive for me.
This movie tells us that it will return to us if we choose bad things. Lucien, a main character in the movie, chose incorrect behavior constantly. This behavior made him to be a rich, but he also made many enemies in his life. So, he lost everything like illusion by them: money and honor, even his wife. Watching this movie, I thought that the most important thing in my life is doesn’t make enemies. However, I also know that it is impossible to satisfied all of people. In other word, no one doesn’t have enemies in one’s life. Thus, this movie gave me one question: How will you live in your life.

Palouse French Film Festival is an event to show people a French movie every week. So, I watched a French movie in there. The title of the movie was ‘Illusions perdues’ which means ‘Lost illusions’. Actually, I didn’t understand what the actors and actresses said. They spoke only the French language, and there were subtitles which helped viewers to understand in English. Both were very difficult to me. Nevertheless, I understood the story of the movie from the acting and how they spoke. Although I didn’t understand at all, this movie was impressive for me.

This behavior made him rich, but he also made many enemies in his life. So, he lost everything: money, honor and even his wife. Watching this movie, I thought that the most important thing in my life is to seek to make friends. However, I also know that it is impossible to satisfy all people. In other word, it is also important to avoid making enemies in one’s life. Thus, this movie gave me one question: How will you live in your life?
